Your Always-Free Personal Item

Every guest flying Spirit is entitled to one free personal item. The baggage rules for Spirit Airlines allow 18 x 14 x 8 inches (45 x 35 x 20 cm), and also the dimensions cover the handles and wheels. No charge applies to personal items such as umbrellas, cameras, reading materials, infant diaper bags, food, outerwear, or assistive devices.
