The AR VR lab is a space where you can test out new technologies like Augmented Virtual Reality (AR) as well as Virtual Reality (VR). In these lab, you can experience and interact with things that are real even though they’re made by computers! For instance, you could wear glasses that are specially designed to see dinosaurs roaming through the classroom. Or engage in games that let it feel like you’re in a completely different world. These labs allow you to discover new concepts in a fun, exciting manner using cool devices and apps.
Setting up an AR/VR lab at your school could make learning exciting and fun! Through AR and VR, students can take immersive field trip experiences, explore planets from afar, stroll through historic sites, and even conduct scientific experiments using 3D. It’s like being in the real world! An AR/VR lab setup provides specially designed headsets, a computer, and applications in the classroom to aid students in learning by watching and doing. This makes the lessons more engaging and helps students understand concepts more quickly and efficiently.
The first is known as the classroom-based AR VR Lab. The lab is located within a classroom. It utilizes mobile phones, tablets, or even simple VR headsets. Students can experience things such as a volcano eruption, planets moving through space, and animals moving about, all right in their faces. They do not have to get up from their seats, but they feel part of the excitement. This kind of lab is perfect for use during normal classes at school.
The second is called an Advanced AR VR Experience Lab. The lab is larger and is equipped with the most powerful equipment and machines. It features specially designed rooms, huge screens, and high-tech VR headsets. Students can take virtual adventures, such as exploring the inside of our body or exploring the pyramids of Egypt. The entire experience is authentic. This lab offers a deeper and more thrilling learning experience. It is usually located in large, prestigious science centers or schools.
